Workshop | Back To Nature pt 3 (Purusha)

Caroline invites you to a cosy evening of relaxation and creative expression at the beautiful Purusha Retreat. Release artistic side through the art of hand-stamping, at Lincolnshire's most environmentally conscious venue.

Time & Location: 

At the heart of our brand lies the commitment to crafting sustainable jewellery, Purusha Retreats embodies the highest ethical and sustainable values, making it an ideal setting for our 'Back To Nature' workshop.

The aim of the session is for us to reconnect with nature and allow it to inspire our textured jewellery designs. This workshop has been timed around the sunset, so arrive at 18:30 ready to explore the beauty of the surrounding woodlands, the tranquil pond & take in the beautiful springtime evening sun before the workshop begins at around 19:00. If the weather permits we can break for food whilst watching the sunset as we polish up at designs towards the end of the workshop.

We shall be hosting the class in the cosy 'Grub Hub', a beautiful eco friendly dome which over looks the stunning grounds. During this workshop, you learn the art of hand stamping as you create a unique wrap ring or cuff bangle. You will practise hammering beautiful shapes and textures into your very own piece of Eco Recycled Sterling Silver, using specialised techniques and tools. If you wish, you can incorporate your personal hand stamped 'affirmation' into your creation.

Caroline shall be bringing along some tasty seasonal treats & soft drinks, please add a note of any dietary requirements in the notes section at the checkout when purchasing your tickets.

What you will be able to make: 

Each piece of Jewellery will be handcrafted from Recycled 925 Sterling Silver. You can either choose to handcraft:

A Cuff Bangle; which is an open bangle, designed to slip over the wrist and to be pinched to fit. Cuff Bangles are a great choice if you are hoping to add more text or would like to stack with other bangles. For this workshop we are using our heavier, thicker blanks (used to make our Maxi Bangles), the metal used is Hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office 

A Wrap Ring; you begin the process with a flat silver blank which you can add texture or a small design / text to. The metal is then forged into a spiral ring using our smithing tools - this forms your wrap ring, which can be squeezed into shape for a snug fit

Please note all items are designed so you are able to create your own piece of jewellery from scratch and can take them home with you at the end of the workshop. If you would like Caroline to take them away for further polishing or adjustments this service is offered free of charge but there will be a postage fee for us to return them to you once the work has been completed.

There will be an opportunity for you to browse and try on your favourite Wild One Jewellery designs. Caroline shall be showcasing her best selling items at a discounted price. If there is a specific design you have your eye on please let us know beforehand so we can be sure to bring it along.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel your place on the workshop please give as much notice as possible, by emailing us at hello@wildonejewellery.co.uk 

There is a strict no refund policy on this booking due to the nature of the event - but we may be able to offer you a place on a future workshop if necessary.
